”"How do you write a review for someone who has literally saved your life? Are words even adequate enough to express what Scott Grossman has done for me? Not only did this wonderful human being offer me his expertise, but also his empathy and compassion. He found out exactly what had happened and knew exactly what to do. Today I am writing this thank you book to honor this man for saving my life and securing my future. Scott and his firm are the ABSOLUTE answer to your situation."
– David M.
Probate and trust litigation often means untangling grief, legacy, and family history all at once. Zac doesn’t shy away from that. He meets people where they are, in the middle of deep loss and high tension, and helps them find a path forward through strategy, advocacy, and straight talk.
Before becoming interested in law, Zac gained experience and education in a wide variety of fields. He double-majored in philosophy and political science, worked in radio and construction after graduation, and hadn’t fully committed to law school when he got an unexpected offer of a scholarship to a law school in Arizona. Four weeks later, he was on the road, sports car packed, starting law school.
He wasn’t drawn to trusts and estates at first — in fact, he hated it. He liked torts and criminal procedure, and his first legal job in California was in personal injury. For years, he built a practice around civil litigation, real estate disputes, and even hostile takeovers, with some probate work on the side.
Now with The Grossman Law Firm, Zac focuses almost entirely on probate and trust litigation, and he’s not looking back.
For Zac, what makes this area of the law so compelling is how personal it can be. The emotional weight of a family member’s death, combined with unanswered questions and unresolved dynamics, often turns legal disputes into something much deeper. People aren’t just fighting over documents; they’re trying to understand their place in a loved one’s final decisions.
Zac’s role is part counselor, part litigator. He’s honest, responsive, and committed to giving clients a voice. He doesn’t promise easy wins, but he does promise to tell his clients like it is. Through frequent and candid communication, he makes sure his clients know what to expect.
One of the cases he’s most proud of involved a father’s poorly planned estate and a brother who misused his position as trustee. Zac brought a suit on behalf of the brother’s niece and nephew, helped push the case into mediation, and ultimately secured a six-figure settlement.
That’s what probate law means to Zac: helping people navigate family conflict with clarity and resolve, and making sure the people left behind are heard.
When he’s not in court or on the phone with a client, Zac spends time with his family, experiments in the kitchen, and hangs out with his two giant dogs. He also dabbles in music and still DJs from time to time.
Zac’s goal isn’t just to win cases — it’s to bring stability and resolution to situations that feel anything but. When families are stuck, he helps them make sure no one gets overlooked or pushed aside.
