"How do you write a review for someone who has literally saved your life? Are words even adequate enough to express what Scott Grossman has done for me? Not only did this wonderful human being offer me his expertise, but also his empathy and compassion. He found out exactly what had happened and knew exactly what to do. Today I am writing this thank you book to honor this man for saving my life and securing my future. Scott and his firm are the ABSOLUTE answer to your situation."

– David M.

Scott has always been drawn to the high-stakes nature of law. He thrives in cases where the law gets personal, and where standing up for families means navigating contentious, often combative disputes that other lawyers like to avoid.

With over 30 years of experience, Scott has made his mark in probate and trust litigation, an area that demands not just legal skill, but the resolve to take on the hard cases.

He’s proud to help individuals and families who are often at their most vulnerable, ensuring their final wishes are respected and their voices are heard.

Scott didn’t follow a straight path into law. After initially pursuing electrical engineering, he realized that what truly resonated with him was the desire to advocate for people. He had always been passionate about argument and debate, but with an instinct to listen, understand, and stand up for what’s right.

He found his footing in law school as part of a powerhouse trial team. Under the guidance and mentorship of Jane Siegel, a Marine Corps defense attorney, Scott sharpened his courtroom instincts and learned how to develop real, resonant case theories. He tried his first case before even graduating and never looked back.

Scott began his career in the Riverside County Public Defender’s Office, quickly amassing trial experience. But after several years, and seeing too many talented lawyers burn out or fall apart, he took a step back. He wanted to build a career that allowed for a balance between his work and his life outside the courtroom.

That shift led him to estate planning, and eventually to litigation. A turning point came when a grandmother walked into his office, wrongfully accused of stealing from her granddaughter’s trust. With shoeboxes full of receipts and a mountain of anxiety, she wanted a chance to tell her story. Scott took the case to trial and won. That case reminded him exactly why he became a litigator in the first place.

Since then, he’s built a practice focused solely on probate and trust litigation. Unlike many lawyers in this field who prefer to avoid court, Scott embraces it. He’s known for taking on cases others won’t touch and for bringing clarity and strength to clients trying to honor a loved one’s final wishes.

His clients aren’t usually fighting over money; they’re fighting to preserve a legacy, enforce a promise, or defend a parent’s last act of love. Whether a trustee isn’t following through or a family member has gone off course, Scott understands that what’s at stake isn’t just legal—it’s deeply personal.

Now that his own children are grown, Scott is adjusting to a new season of life. But his commitment to his clients remains the same: walk them through the chaos, give them straight answers, and fight like hell to make things right.
